Stephen Curry, the star of the Golden State Warriors is about to..

The three-point shootout between Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry and New York Liberty star Sabrina Ionescu on Saturday night promises to be an intriguing matchup. Curry discussed how this battle came about and who he believes will win on Saturday because he is a member of the Western Conference All-Star squad.

Curry stated, “It started with her and the WNBA three-point contest this summer. She had 37 points, which is a record for the three-point contest’s current format.” I called her out, praising her accomplishment in an equally silly and beautiful way. We’re going to have our Sabrina vs. Step confrontation today after she challenged me again. The only possible result is that I come out on top. I can’t wait to go shoot with her outside. She is amazing; she is a terrific player and shooter, and adding some competition to the game would be fantastic.

Given that this is a competition, it is not shocking to find that he is choosing himself to win. Curry stated that this is “what sports is about” at the event’s press conference, according to CBS Sports.

“Whatever happens, that’s the whole point of sports, right?” Said Curry. “Participating in any format. I’m a contender because she’s the winner. Let’s discuss it over the phone.

Ionescu, a rising star in the WNBA, will undoubtedly find this matchup thrilling as she takes on what is perhaps the best shooter in basketball history. Curry “used to be my background screensaver” on her phone, she said at their press conference, demonstrating how much of a fan she is.

Ionescu remarked, “He used to be my background screensaver.” “I had wallpaper once.” Everything in my room that you could possibly imagine. This is a “pinch-me” moment because we know that what we can do this coming weekend is every child’s dream.
The Warriors star was inspired to chase the record after witnessing Ionescu score 47 points in the WNBA game. “I got something to shoot for now,” he even declared.

“I have to chase Sabrina’s record,” said Curry. “Now that she scored 37 points during their All-Star weekend, I have something to aim for.” I suppose we should definitely resolve that one.

Ionescu’s decision to shoot from the NBA three-point line rather than the WNBA’s is an intriguing trend in the game. The former 2020 first-round draft selection, though, doesn’t seem to mind because she claimed she typically practices from that range anyhow.

“I shoot from that range personally to start,” Ionescustated. “My goal is to improve my shooting and basketball skills, therefore I practice from that range. Simply get better all around. It was obvious from the beginning that I wanted to shoot from the NBA line since I knew I had the option to choose any line I wanted to shoot from.

As part of Indianapolis’ All-Star weekend, Curry and Ionescu will square off on Saturday night following the NBA three-point competition.
