Ahead of Ireland’s match against Hungary, Everton defender Seamus Coleman has revealed more details about his future deal.

t the end of June, but the Toffees have revealed that he and Ashley Young been offered a one-year contract extension.
Coleman may have just hinted that he plans to take the offer, even if the agreement hasn’t been signed. In an interview, Coleman said he couldn’t image playing for a team other than the Toffees.
“It was a tough three seasons but last year was equally as tough with the point deductions and all that stuff,” he remarked in an interview with the Irish publication RTE Sport on June 3.
“But happily, our fan base and squad rallied together and crossed the line, something we’re really proud of. However, the past several weeks have really been about putting all of that behind us, spending time with the family, and retreating here.
“Listen, Everton plays a huge role in both my life and mine.

Though he won’t play every week, he is more than capable of filling in when needed, as seen by the fact that he kept Leandro Trossard quiet for the majority of the game in the team’s defeat to Arsenal on the final day.
Coleman should be able to play these international friendlies without any problems and then sign a contract at Goodison. This might be one of the more significant transfers announced this summer as there isn’t likely to be much business coming in or going out of the club.
