Newcastle United is now undefeated in their travels to Fulham.

In all competitions, the Magpies have won their last five games at Craven Cottage, and they will want to win six more on Saturday.

Newcastle United will win the Premier League if something occurs.

Newcastle won 1-0 on their previous visit to Craven Cottage. In a season when they were having trouble away from home, they gained three crucial points on the road thanks to a goal from Bruno Guimaraes in the 81st minute.

Eddie Howe’s team has gained four points from their first two away games, and they now appear to be performing a little better while playing away.

Despite the fact that Newcastle has won this matchup recently, Paul Merson believes Newcastle will fall short against Fulham.

Chris Sutton gives his verdict on Newcastle ahead of game against Fulham

Regarding Newcastle’s prospects in West London, Chris Sutton is not quite as negative as he is about this weekend’s Premier League games.

Sutton, however, has admitted that he has not been impressed with the Magpies thus far this season and told BBC Sport that Howe’s team would not prevail.

“I always fancied them to win at Craven Cottage, but Fulham won nine and lost eight of their 19 home Premier League games last season,” he wrote.

“They should have defeated West Ham there last weekend, as they had opportunities to take the lead before Danny Ings gave the Hammers an equalizer in the 95th minute.”

I haven’t been really thrilled with Newcastle thus far, so they’re still a bit of an unknown to me.

Eddie Howe’s team may eventually falter, but for the time being at least, they are managing to win games while depending more on individual players’ flashes of brilliance than on cohesive play.

“They are the team that is difficult to predict here because last week’s 1-1 draw for Fulham was exactly right on.” Therefore, even though I think they will win this one more than Newcastle, I am going for the same result.

Not much confidence in Newcastle despite bright startThere doesn’t seem to be much optimism for Newcastle United’s performance against Fulham on Saturday.

That essentially captures the Magpies’ season opening performance. Even if Howe’s team hasn’t played at its best, they have managed to score points.

People like Sutton and Merson are worried about it, but nobody seems to be understanding that the Magpies will recover. That will undoubtedly occur as the players get stronger and more skilled

    • Newcastle is reportedly attempting to reach its physical peak at the ideal moment, and Howe’s training strategies have changed as a consequence of James Bunce’s appointment as performance director. That seems to have played a part in Newcastle’s season-long sluggish start, but in the long run, it will undoubtedly be beneficial.

The Magpies will eventually get into high gear. Hopefully, it will be on a Saturday, in a location where Newcastle has had success in the past several seasons.

With regard to the game, the striker issue is the only significant worry. Due to a toe injury, Alexander Isak is questionable to play against Fulham and may miss the game. Anthony Gordon will lead the line if that turns out to be the case for newcastle
