Due to a hamstring injury, wide receiver Davante Adams of the Las Vegas Raiders was ruled out of their game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Adams suffered a hamstring injury during practice three weeks ago, but he has been the subject of trade rumours for the past two weeks. He didn’t practise since he is still not quite well.
Adams is not the only player the Raiders will be missing in the meantime. Prominent backup tight end Michael Mayer was ruled out due to a personal matter and stayed away from the team. He was forced to miss the following four games by the Raiders, who put him on the non-football sickness list.
Their standout defensive lineman, Christian Wilkins, is on injured reserve following surgery for a foot ailment. More injuries have been sustained by the Raiders, as starting guard Jackson Powers-Johnson, starting lineman Thayer Munford, starting wide receiver Jakobi Meyers, starting running back Zamir White, depth linebacker Tommy Eichenberg, and depth safety Trey Taylor are all doubtful to play.
The Raiders might be in danger if they lose even two of those guys, but they have already suffered a great deal of skill loss. In their attempt to recover from the injuries, Las Vegas will take against the Steelers at home.
