Bruno Davidson, a Celtic teenager, has quit football to focus on his fashion company.

The 20-year-old appeared in 67 Parkhead B games, scoring eight goals and assisted on another eight.

Davidson never played for Celtic’s first team, and despite having a contract in Glasgow’s east end until the end of the current season, he has decided to leave football entirely to create his own fashion label, ‘Bruno Narducci’.

On Friday evening, he announced on Instagram: “I’m excited to finally share that I’ve made the decision to step away from football to fully pursue my passion for fashion and launch my own clothing brand,” he added.

“This has been in the works for a while, but now feels like the right time to announce it.” Those who know me understand that this is not a sudden change; my decision was carefully considered and planned over time.

“I’ve been enthusiastic about this for years, and I’m ready to take the next step.

“A huge thank you to Celtic for the memories, the friendships, the experiences and the lessons that shaped me.”

Bruno Narducci is expected to premiere on Sunday, March 16, at 5 p.m.

Davidson was inspired to continue the business in remembrance of his Nonno, Pasquale Narducci, who relocated to Toronto in the 1950s: “In 1977, he founded Narducci Clothiers in Toronto, a young Italian immigrant trying to carve out a life,” he recalled.

“His work was never simply about manufacturing garments; it was about workmanship, relationships, and tenacity in a new world. Clothing was more than just fabric and thread back then; it represented individuality and personal detail.

“I’ve spent the last while thinking about his journey, imaging what it must have been like to arrive in Toronto as a 20-year-old kid with nothing, walking into a world where everything was different, including the language, but his hands still knew how to create. That unwavering commitment to his career and family is what shaped me.

“Now, in 2025, I proudly continue his vision under the name Bruno Narducci.”

“In an era when great craftsmanship and attention to detail seem rare, we stay committed to the ideas that founded our brand, with each piece produced with intention, love, and the same passion that my Nonno put into his work.

“This is more than a brand, it’s a bridge between generations.”
