Alan Myers reports that Everton and Dele Alli have reached an agreement in principle to sign the player on a free transfer, but the agreement won’t go into effect until he’s fully healthy again.
On October 5, the news editor for Sky Sports asserted that he will only be paid by the team when he is fit to play.
The 28-year-old is presently recovering from an injury and is doing his rehabilitation at the Toffees’ facilities.

Alli’s condition is not improving, according to a recent report on his fitness from Sean Dyche, who was the attacker for Tottenham.

It is unclear what the arrangement is, but the hierarchy would not push an injury-prone player down Dyche’s neck if he did not want him.
Alli is no longer in a position to demand earnings comparable to what he was previously pocketing, even though he may want them.
The Englishman can cause havoc in the last third when he’s completely fit, and Dyche must have caught snippets of that action behind the scenes.
